We review all repair requests personally.
In most cases, if your repair qualifies for the selected service option, you will receive an approval email with payment instructions within 12 hours of submitting your request.

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice before the scheduled appointment date and time.
For cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance, we will issue a refund minus any payment processing fees, which are charged by third-party payment providers and are not under our control.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment date and time are eligible for a 50% refund, minus applicable payment processing fees.
We reserve appointment times specifically for each customer. Late cancellations often prevent us from offering that time to another homeowner and may result in lost production time for our technicians.
If you need to make changes to your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
-
Yes.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, you can simply select a new date based on our current availability.
Only available appointment dates will appear on the calendar. If a date is unavailable, it will not be shown as a booking option.
This allows you to quickly choose a new appointment date that works best for your schedule without the need for multiple phone calls or emails.
Once we receive notice that your appointment has been rescheduled, we may contact you to confirm the new appointment date and review any details related to your repair.
If you need assistance or have questions about rescheduling, please contact Alex directly at 647-869-8309.

Yes, we provide drywall installation, taping, plastering, batt insulation, and vapor barrier services for basement finishing projects.
To provide a rough estimate, we typically ask for a few photos of the space, the approximate dimensions of the area, and ceiling height measurements. In many cases, we can provide a rough quote by email or phone based on the information submitted.
Final pricing depends on the complexity of the project. Features such as bulkheads, custom ceilings, soffits, architectural details, multiple rooms, and difficult access areas may require a site visit before a final quote can be provided.
Before any work begins, you'll receive a clear scope of work, project timeline, and pricing so you know exactly what to expect.

We believe hiring a contractor should be simple.
Most homeowners are used to calling multiple companies, waiting for callbacks, scheduling estimate visits, and comparing quotes before work can even begin.
We've built a different process.
For qualifying repairs, you can view pricing, select a preferred appointment date, upload photos, and submit your repair request online. Once approved and payment is received, your appointment is confirmed.
In addition to convenience, you'll work directly with experienced drywall professionals who understand drywall installation, taping, plastering, ceiling repairs, water damage repairs, and finishing work.
Homeowners choose Ontario Drywall Finishes because we offer:
Transparent pricing
Online booking for qualifying repairs
Clear communication
Written confirmations
Professional workmanship
Clean and organized job sites
Owner involvement throughout the process
Our goal is simple: make drywall repair and drywall installation easier, more predictable, and less stressful for homeowners.
-
Absolutely.
While many of our services are designed with homeowners in mind, we also work with restaurants, retail stores, offices, property managers, and other commercial clients throughout the GTA.
Whether you need drywall repairs, ceiling repairs, water damage restoration, drywall installation, taping/plastering, we'd be happy to review your project.
Commercial projects are typically handled through our custom quote process. Simply send us photos and details of the work required, and we'll review the scope, provide recommendations, and prepare a quote.
We understand that many businesses need repairs completed quickly and with minimal disruption to daily operations. Where possible, we will work with you to schedule repairs at a time that best suits your business.
-
Not every project is the right fit for every contractor, and we believe it's important to be honest about that from the beginning.
If we feel that a project falls outside our area of expertise, scheduling capacity, or service model, we may recommend a different approach or suggest another contractor if we know someone who may be a better fit.
Our goal is not to take every project. Our goal is to take on projects where we can provide the best possible experience and deliver quality workmanship.
If your project is not a match for Ontario Drywall Finishes, we will let you know honestly and wish you the very best with your renovation or repair.
-
Customer satisfaction is important to us.
If there is a concern related to the work performed, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible so we can review the situation and discuss a solution.
Most concerns can be resolved quickly through clear communication and a site review if necessary.
Our goal is to complete every project professionally, leave the repair area clean, and ensure the finished work meets the scope of work that was agreed upon before the project began.
If you have questions or concerns, you'll be speaking directly with Alex, who personally reviews all repair requests and remains involved throughout the process.

We regularly repair drywall and ceiling holes left behind after electrical work, pot light installations, speaker installations, plumbing access, and other renovation projects.
Whether you have one opening or multiple openings throughout the home, we'll review the photos and determine the best repair option for your project.
Single repairs may qualify for our online booking service, while multiple repairs may require a custom quote through Option 3.

We repair many types of drywall and ceiling cracks, including settlement cracks, stress cracks, corner bead cracks, and other common drywall imperfections.
Because every crack is different, we ask that you submit photos so we can determine the cause, scope of repair, and the most appropriate solution.
Some crack repairs qualify for our online booking options, while larger or recurring crack repairs may require a custom quote.

We provide steel stud framing services for residential and commercial projects, including basements, offices, retail spaces, bulkheads, soffits, feature walls, room divisions, and renovation projects.
Steel stud framing is commonly used when constructing new walls, finishing basements, repairing damaged framing, or preparing a space for drywall installation.
If your project includes steel stud framing, drywall installation, taping, and plastering, we can often complete the entire scope of work rather than requiring multiple contractors.
For steel stud framing projects, we recommend submitting photos, measurements, and project details so we can review the scope and provide a rough quote.
-
Yes.
If you would like to purchase and supply your own materials, we can provide a labour-only option for drywall and taping projects.
Before ordering materials, it's important to know the correct drywall type, sheet size, thickness, and quantity required for the project. For example, using 4' x 8' sheets where 4' x 12' sheets would be more appropriate may create additional joints and increase finishing work.
If we move forward with your project, we can provide a material list and sheet count based on the agreed scope of work. You may then purchase materials from your preferred supplier or through one of our suppliers.
Materials supplied by the customer should be delivered to the work area before the scheduled start date.
Whether you'd like us to supply the materials or simply provide labour, we're happy to discuss the option that works best for your project.

For basement projects, drywall installation, steel stud framing, bulkheads, larger repairs, and other custom projects, a deposit is typically required before work begins.
The deposit allows us to reserve time in our schedule, order materials if required, and commit labour to your project.
Deposit amounts vary depending on the size and scope of the work. Before any project begins, you'll receive a written scope of work, pricing, payment schedule, and expected project timeline so you know exactly what to expect.

For basement projects, drywall installation, steel stud framing, bulkheads, commercial projects, and other larger renovations, we provide a written agreement outlining the scope of work, pricing, payment schedule, and project expectations.
Our goal is to ensure that both parties clearly understand what work is being performed, what is included, the expected timeline, and how payments will be handled.
We believe clear communication and written agreements help prevent misunderstandings and create a smoother experience for everyone involved.
-
We accept credit cards, e-transfer, apple pay, google pay, mastercard, and other secure electronic payment methods. Additional payment options may be available for larger projects.
